Yutong Electric Architecture developed by Yutong, is the first EV specific platform that integrates software and hardware in the CV industry, opening a new era of hardware integration and software OTA upgrades.
Starting with the brains of the vehicle, the VCU (Vehicle Control Unit). Made in house at Yutong, this unit was specially designed to work in series with all vehicle systems. By taking into account vehicle conditions and driver input, the VCU can control all aspects of the vehicle.
The muscle of the vehicle, the Power Control Unit, takes commands from the VCU and the ICU (Integrated Control Unit) to control the HV power of the vehicle and run all HV systems. This is not just a big relay box, the technology within the unit significantly affects the vehicle’s efficiency.
The ICU house the IGBT inverter circuit this is the unit that coverts the DC to AC and is specialised to the Yutong product and has the largest effect on the efficiency within the unit.

The safety level reaches IP68+IP6K9K, which is the highest in the industry, meeting the requirements of European standards and ensures the safe operation of vehicles in all aspects.
