VDI Expands Operations with the Inauguration of State-of-the-Art Brisbane Assembly Facility

Vehicle Dealers International (VDI), the national distributor for Yutong Buses in Australia has officially opened its new state-of-the art facility in Brisbane’s Eagle Farm. The event included a ribbon cutting ceremony with valued partner Yutong, government and industry representatives, customers, and suppliers, marking the next phase of VDI’s growth and commitment to innovation.

VDI has strategically partnered with Yutong to provide the localised assembly of products, commencing with the E12 battery electric full size city route bus. The local manufacture of the E12 represents a significant step forward in the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility and the advancement of clean, efficient transportation for Australian cities. This innovation aligns with VDI’s vision of providing sustainable, eco-friendly transportation solutions without compromising performance or comfort.

The new facility enables the expansion of VDI’s Brisbane based new vehicle assembly and manufacturing program and serves as centre of excellence for technical training and engineering support for Yutong products. “The opening of our new manufacturing facility is a testament to VDI’s commitment to excellence and innovation. We are excited about the opportunities this expansion brings, and we look forward to serving our customers with even greater efficiency and quality,” said Peter Woodard, Managing Director for VDI.

The cutting-edge facility, strategically located in Eagle Farm Brisbane, is equipped with the latest technology and adheres to the highest industry standards. This expansion reinforces VDI’s dedication to providing class-leading transport solutions to meet the increasing demands of its valued customers.
