VDI Australia Awarded QBIC’s Supplier of the Year

When it comes to choosing a supplier, operators look for more than just buses, they look for a partner they can trust to delivers on quality, service, and long-term support. VDI Australia are proud to have earnt this trust, being awarded Supplier of the Year at QBIC’s 2025 National Conference and Gala Dinner.

 

This April, the Queensland Bus Industry Council (QBIC) held their annual conference which serves as a vital platform for industry professionals, operators, manufacturers and suppliers to come together and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of the Australian bus and coach industry. From valuable networking opportunities to thought-provoking technical presentations, the event culminated in a proud milestone for VDI, being named 2025 Supplier of the Year.

This award is testament to VDI’s continuous dedication and commitment to the Australian bus and coach industry. From our humble beginnings in 2014, VDI’s mission has always been to support Australian operators by providing class-leading, future-ready transport solutions that deliver on safety, sustainability, reliability and performance, all whilst catering to the unique needs of the Australian market. This achievement also recognises the outstanding passion, expertise and dedication that we bring to all our operations. Just within the past two years, our workforce has grown significantly with the employment of new customer service and parts roles as well as a significant expansion of our sales team. This expansion, no doubt, is a major contributing factor to our continued success within the industry and sets the foundation for even greater achievements in the years ahead.

Much of this award can be credited to VDI’s outstanding commitment to understanding the challenges faced by Australian operators and the unique demands of the Australian market. We are always striving for optimal customer engagement that, accompanied by years of industry knowledge, provides operators with a tailored experience that is seamless and reaps long-term rewards. This experience includes solutions that include detailed route analysis, charging infrastructure planning, and ongoing aftersales and maintenance support. From something as simple as installing specific features like USB ports or CCTV, we always ensure that our customer’s needs are heard, understood and made a reality.
