Spare parts Interpreter – Craigieburn

Having experienced tremendous growth over the past few years, it is time for the right person to join the exciting future of our company and develop our Spare parts business in the Southern region.
We are seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter, preferably with a background in the Heavy Vehicle Industry but should not exclude anyone with a strong mechanical background. The role encompasses all aspects of the spare parts and warehousing functions through to order fulfillment. Pentana/ERA system is in use, knowledge of the same would be an advantage.
This is a hands-on role and reports to the National Parts Manager and is based in our Craigieburn branch.
Key Accountabilities are but not limited to –
- Parts interpreting
- Inventory Control, Stock Ordering, Order Forecasting
- Overseeing stock control and managing annual and cyclical stock takes
- Maintain and build relationships with the dealer network
- Customer liaison and relationship building
- Liaising with internal departments
- General warehouse duties including, picking & packing parts, including glass
Skills and experience –
- Previous experience in spare parts interpretation (automotive, bus, or truck industry preferred).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while being a team player.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Forklift ticket required
